Terms of use

These terms cover the Mural app for Windows and the Mural Pro subscription, both made by Asher Apps ("we"). By installing Mural or buying Pro you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to hide things.
1. The free app
Mural is free to download and use on any number of your own Windows PCs, for personal or commercial purposes. You may not redistribute the installer as your own, remove the notices in it, or use Mural to break the law or other people's rights (for example by using pictures you have no right to use).
The installer is published only on github.com/arsamasif/mural-releases. Installers from anywhere else are not ours.
2. Mural Pro
- Pro is a monthly subscription that adds a monthly allowance of AI credits. Plans and prices are listed on the pricing section.
- Pro is sold by Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy's terms apply to the purchase, taxes, invoices and payment handling.
- You receive a license key by email. One key is for one person; you may use it on all PCs you personally use. Credits are shared across those PCs.
- Credits reset on your billing date each month and do not roll over. Credits spent on a job that fails are refunded to your balance. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
- Founder pricing: subscribe before Oct 23, 2026 and your plan keeps its current price for as long as that subscription stays active. Switching plans or resubscribing uses the price at that time.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds are described on the refunds page.
- Everything you make keeps working after you cancel; only the AI buttons stop.
3. AI tools and providers
The AI tools send requests to third-party providers: Anthropic (scene editing and prompt help), Stability AI (images) and fal.ai (animation). Their usage policies apply to what you ask for, and we may refuse or stop requests that violate them (for example illegal or abusive content). What is sent to whom is listed on the privacy page.
You own what you make with Mural, to the extent the law and the providers' terms allow. AI output can be wrong, odd, or similar to other people's output; check it before you rely on it.
If you use your own API keys, your agreement is with those providers, you pay them directly, and Pro is not required.
4. Fair use of the relay
Mural Pro requests go through our relay so you do not have to manage keys. Do not use the relay for anything other than Mural, share keys, or try to get more than your plan's credits. We may suspend a key that is being abused and will say why.
5. Changes to the app and these terms
Mural is early software (version 0.1.x) and changes often; the changelog lists what each release does. We may change prices for new subscribers, add or remove features, or stop offering Pro. If we have to change these terms in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and the pricing section or app will say so. Continuing to use Pro after a change means you accept it; if you do not, cancel and ask for a refund if you are within the refund window.
6. No warranty, limited liability
Mural is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable, but we cannot promise it will be free of bugs, work on every PC, or be available at all times, and the AI providers' services may be down or change. To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising from Mural or Pro is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you where you live.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province where Asher Apps is based, without taking away any consumer protections you have where you live.
